The project is very boring, tiring, tedious, brain draining, lame but it allowed me to learn a lot of stuff that is totally unrelated to my life.
My Group
There are 5 people in my group. We are the power group because we are powerful. There is me, jollene, khai, johnson and wee lun. Jollene is the core and the back bone. We started doing during the first day of the holiday. I bet no one is as hardworking as us. The closing ceremony of our project is yesterday.All the people turned up for the meeting. The group is good. Everyone play a part but jollene played the biggest part. Without her is like a banana without banana skin. We will rot. But everyone also contributed.The meeting time is a problem though as all of us have our plans, like CDS, friends outing and other project.
My Contribution
-Did some part of theory and edit a little of it
-did some data entry for the data entry form
-disturb other groups
-bring paper for printing and hog the printer
-create some batches
-solve some problem by asking some other group people to solve it
Major Problems encountered
We met a lot of problems but these are the major problem
Firstly, we never count the GST then we have to redo the whole project
Secondly, we do not know how to create the void check
Thirdly we did not know we have to classify the transaction in different batches
Fourthly we did not know what bank to use
The software skills that i learnt
This powerful project made my software skill more powerful. Software this kind of thing is very hard to put in words. I sort of learn how to entered transaction, create batches, recurring entry and how to post everything. I also understood how general ledgers system works and how account receiver works. My love now is to go to lab 8 com 5 and play accpac whenever i am free.
I also learnt how to operate the printer smoothly and how to cancel print jobs from other computers to allow my work to print.
